The Oak Ridge Lions Club has awarded scholarships to five Oak Ridge High School graduates of the class of 2026. They are Dhimitrios Butler, Kirah Colston, James Gormley, Elly Hartman, and Martin Martinez. Each student received $500.00 for tuition, books, and/or fees.
The scholarships were awarded to the students at a recent dinner with the Lions Club members. They were guests with their families and friends. Lions Scholarship Committee Chairman Bob Smallridge and Lion Jesse Cavasoz welcomed and congratulated them.
“We are happy to have three of our scholarship winners with us tonight,” Smallridge said. “We congratulate you. Along with the winners, it is our pleasure to honor the families as well. We appreciate that you are with us to celebrate your graduates.”…
