CCEA, CCSD launch new program targeting 18 struggling schools across Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A new initiative in the Clark County School District is bringing educators, students, and parents together with the goal of improving student achievement.

The Clark County Education Association and CCSD are launching a new feeder school project involving 18 schools across the valley designed to help students who have been struggling.

“The system has not been working for a really long time, and so the question comes up all the time for us is what is the change?” said Abigail Johnson, a teacher at Western High School.
