LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 23)–Several cases of either fuel tanks on vehicles having holes drilled into them or gas siphoned from them in recent weeks are being investigated by Lincoln Police.
That includes four in the last six weeks, two of which happened in the last week, according to LPD public information manager Erika Thomas.
“There have been 12 cases in 2026-eight where the suspect cut or drilled a hold and four where they siphoned or attempted to siphon gas out of the tank,” Thomas told KFOR News and other reporters on Wednesday morning…
