Cows are a familiar part of life for some Wisconsin kids. But for others, seeing hundreds of dairy cattle in one place is a whole new experience. It’s also what made a recent field trip to World Dairy Expo in Madison so interesting for some students from Howards Grove. The visit provided a firsthand look at how big the business of agriculture can be — especially for kids who don’t spend their days around it.
Walking through the barns, the group saw cattle of different breeds, and from all parts of the world.
