Solidcore is staking out space in Frisco’s Fields West development, with plans for a new fitness studio at 5301 Fields Parkway that will bring the boutique brand’s signature reformer workouts to the fast-growing luxury district. A renovation permit pegs the buildout cost at $659,725 for a 2,023-square-foot space, with construction expected to start February 1, 2027 and wrap up by April 16, 2027.
The plans surfaced in filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, as reported by Community Impact. Solidcore was first announced as one of 27 businesses signing leases at Fields West back in December 2024, and the studio now joins a growing roster of fitness, fashion, and lifestyle tenants filling out the 55-acre project. Solidcore’s workouts are built around 50-minute, high-intensity, low-impact strength sessions on custom resistance reformer machines that push targeted muscle groups to failure, according to Wikipedia. Classes run under low lighting and loud music, and per Community Impact’s reporting, the sessions emphasize strength, endurance, and core stability using specialized resistance-based machines for controlled, full-body movement. The brand already operates studios in Southlake, Dallas, Addison, and Plano, extending a North Texas footprint that dates back to its 2019 debut on Walnut Hill Lane, a milestone Hoodline previously covered.
A Studio Backed by Private Equity Muscle
The Frisco expansion comes as Solidcore scales under new ownership. Global private equity firm L Catterton acquired a majority stake in the company in September 2024, in a deal valuing the boutique fitness brand between $600 million and $700 million, according to Athletech News.
