Man sentenced to 19 years in prison for drug conspiracy

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A man has been sentenced to 19 years in prison for his involvement in a drug conspiracy and related firearm charges.

The United States Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee announced Monday that Charles Williams, 39, was sentenced for involvement in a long-term conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Court documents say law enforcement used recorded calls, traffic stops, surveillance, and search warrants to establish that Williams distributed a felony amount of methamphetamine and fentanyl for over a year before his federal indictment in March 2025…
