Just two words — a short description of a neighborhood — has sparked a lawsuit between two Miami-Dade developers.
The Mansions on Fisher Island, a community of the largest luxury single-family homes on the private island, is being sued for alleged trademark infringement of the registered phrase “The Mansions.” Devtov Group, LLC, developer of The Mansions at Doral, filed the suit against Madar Group USA, its CEO David Emmanuel Cohen, Davco Management and multiple Fisher Island LLCs late last month.
