Everson Griffen arrested for 3rd time since July, this time for probable cause DWI

Former Minnesota Vikings Pro Bowl defensive end Everson Griffen has been in custody at the Hennepin County Jail since being arrested on Saturday, Sept. 5.

Hennepin County Jail records show that Griffen was booked into custody at 5:46 a.m. Saturday on probable cause of 5th-degree drug possession and probable cause of DWI. He is being held without bail.

Griffen was pulled over by South Lake Minnetonka Police around 1:25 a.m. for allegedly driving recklessly near County Road 19 and Smithtown Road in Shorewood, the Minnesota Star Tribune reports.
