PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — After a fire destroyed a pavilion at Battle Ground park early Tuesday morning, one couple who rented the space for their wedding is now left without a venue.
Lisa Perigo and Chris Foster are only three days out from their small wedding. But now have to think of other plans since the picnic structure at Lewisville Park burned to a crisp.
“My initial reaction, I didn’t want to panic, so I just said, ‘Okay, this happened. Let’s just let it rest and see how things unfold,’” Foster told KOIN 6 News.

The pair met while Foster was a hired musician on a cruise ship. Fast forward three years, and the two decided on Lewisville Park as the place to hold their wedding.
