PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Portland Public Works told Portland City Council it is forced to make cuts for next fiscal year, while residents will be expected to pay more.
The proposed Public Works budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year is $4.76 billion with 3,006 proposed staff across Parks & Recreation, Transportation, Water and Environmental Services, and Enterprise Services.
