TIGARD, Ore. (KATU) — A 41-year-old with a lengthy criminal history was sentenced to life in prison after his latest conviction for public indecency.
Joshua Cory Nealy has been arrested 166 times since 1999. He’s had seven felony convictions and 48 misdemeanor convictions, ranging from third-degree sexual abuse, robbery, and numerous assaults.
The Washington County District Attorney’s Office said Nealy was given the true-life sentence under ORS 137.719, which “imposes a presumptive sentence of life imprisonment for defendants who have been sentenced for felony sex crimes at least two times previously.”…
