Rochester police recover loaded ghost gun, AR-style pistol in overnight arrests

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police made two gun arrests overnight, recovering a loaded ghost gun in one investigation and an AR-15-style pistol in another.

The first arrest came just before 11 p.m. Wednesday on Reynolds Street, where officers were called for a report of someone menacing another person with a handgun. Police found 29-year-old Christopher Singleton in the passenger seat of a Ford Fusion and recovered a loaded 9 mm ghost gun, according to investigators.

Singleton was taken to the Monroe County Jail and charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Hours later, officers were called to Bay Street for a stolen vehicle report. There, police found a 2017 Kia that had already been reported stolen, and 25-year-old William Day asleep behind the wheel…
