Driver with suspended license crashes motorcycle in Oregon, faces multiple charges

OREGON, Ill. (WTVO) — A 49-year-old driver with a suspended license has been charged with drunk driving after he crashed a Harley Davidson motorcycle into a telephone pole on Sunday.

According to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the 2600 block of W. Oregon Trail Road around 8:54 p.m., where Eric Bryer, of Sycamore, had been traveling westbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, went into the ditch, and hit the guard wire on the telephone pole.
