WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill (WTVO) — The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office announced the passing of K9 Zoro on Tuesday.
Officials said Zoro began experiencing sudden medical issues Monday and was immediately taken to a veterinary clinic for evaluation. Due to the seriousness of his condition, he was later transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Madison for additional treatment, where veterinarians determined he was suffering from an advanced and terminal form of lymphoma.
