ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A jury has found Christopher Ware guilty on two out of three charges in a brutal 2024 domestic battery attack.
The incident occurred on October 12, 2024, when Winnebago County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a medical alert on the 5100 block of Zenith Parkway.
According to the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office, deputies found a victim in the bedroom, stating that Ware, 64, attacked her. At trial, she testified he became angry, grabbed her, ripped some of her braids, and punched her multiple times while threatening to kill her.
