The 2023-2024 academic calendar for RPS 205 students has changed. Three emergency days for winter weather have extended the school year by three days. The new last day of school for Early Childhood students is Friday, June 7, 2024. For Grades K-11, it’s Monday, June 10, 2024, and for Grade 12, it’s Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
The school administration stresses the importance of each day for seniors nearing graduation. Despite the extended year, seniors will finish school two days earlier than last year. This ensures all students can meet graduation requirements.
Other changes include the end of the third quarter for middle schools, now on Friday, April 5, 2024. A make-up day for Parent Teacher Conferences is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11, 2024.
The school reminds that if the two remaining emergency days are used, all dates will shift back by two days. This accounts for any potential disruptions to the academic schedule.
