ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – An officer with the Rockford Police Department is behind bars and faces battery charges.
Michael Rhein, 28, is accused of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and domestic battery.
According to the Winnebago County jail’s website, he was booked just before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 17.
