A casual Vietnamese restaurant from the owner of one of the Bay Area’s top-ranked restaurants has closed. Perle Bar in Oakland’s Montclair Village, from Rob Lam of Lily in San Francisco, has gone dark, East Bay Nosh first reported. A year ago, Lam retooled his previous French-Mediterranean bistro and wine bar in the space, Perle, with a new focus on Vietnamese dishes and cocktails.
