SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Chatham Area Transit (CAT) has appointed a new member to its Board of Directors.
Mia Mance serves as the executive director of the Savannah Downtown Business Association, which represents more than 500 downtown businesses. She has also worked in media, marketing and business leadership for more than two decades, as the owner of Mia Talks Media & Marketing.
Mance was appointed to the board by the Chatham County legislative delegation and replaces former member Bert Brantley.
“Mia brings a unique combination of business leadership, communications expertise and a deep commitment to serving our community,” said Detric Leggett, chairman of the CAT Board of Directors. “Her understanding of the business community, coupled with her extensive communications experience, will be a tremendous asset to CAT as we continue working to strengthen public transportation and better serve the people of Chatham County.”…
