FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Police in Fairfax County said that thanks to a community connection during the 2026 National Night Out (NNO), officers identified a suspect who is now linked to several burglaries and vehicle thefts.
The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said that its detectives attended NNO events throughout the county, including in Reston, on Aug. 4. During one of those events, a community member talked to a detective and later provided a video of a man going into an unlocked vehicle.
Investigators identified the man as 31-year-old Junior Gonzales-Coello and linked similar incidents in the area to him.
