TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – More than 30 arrests have been made in connection with an alleged $1.7 million property damage fraud scheme, including 14 former state employees, according to the Florida Department of Financial Services.
Officers previously arrested Tallahassee woman Briana McCarthy, a former Risk Management Program specialist for the Florida Department of Financial Services, in February. McCarthy is facing a litany of charges for approving false property damage claims totaling $1.7 million.
