A Houston bankruptcy judge this week ordered the sale of Toledo Molding & Die (TMD) to TNJ Ohio LLC, an affiliate of JVIS, through a bankruptcy court-approved transaction. Judge Christopher Lopez of the US Bankruptcy Court in Houston signed the sale order on May 14, authorizing First Brands Group LLC to transfer the operation’s assets to the new owner.
According to court records, the sale allows TNJ Ohio to acquire the manufacturing assets free and clear of existing liens, claims, encumbrances, and interests, providing a clean slate for the operation’s future.
