With Memorial Day upon us, Wichita Park & Recreation is ready for families to return to the neighborhood pools this summer.
Starting Monday, May 25, the following pools will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.:
- Aley
- College Hill
- Harvest
- Orchard
Due to a shortage of lifeguards, the pools are operating on a rotating schedule. If you know of someone who would like to be one, please have them apply at wichita.gov/Aquatics.
Wichita Park & Recreation is continuing to hire and train lifeguards with the goal of moving to a full daily schedule at all six public pools by mid-June…
