Editorial: Bill gives primary care the overdue attention it deserves

Massachusetts has long grappled with an acute shortage of primary-care physicians.

There’s no reason for a state known for the best medical facilities in the world to still be looking for answers to this problem, other than legislative indifference and a professional reluctance to support a field that’s far more valued in most other industrialized nations.
