After replacing lead-affected water faucets at Gregori High, a July 29 retest of the lines for the contaminant showed the water system was in compliance ahead of the 2026-27 school year.
“Several sink faucets associated with the elevated results were replaced, the system was flushed, and follow-up testing was conducted,” said Linda Mumma Solorio, director of communications at Modesto City Schools.
According to Solorio, “the elevated results were associated with specific sink faucets rather than the school’s overall water supply.”…
