In the early morning hours of August 4, 2026, Officers with the Spruce Pine Police Department apprehended two individuals in connection with the theft of copper wiring from the Ingles property.
While conducting routine business checks, Officers observed suspicious activity at the location, which has remained closed due to prior storm damage. Upon further investigation, Officers located two individuals actively involved in the removal of copper wiring from the premises.
