A total of 772 Asheville businesses have applied for grants to help recover from Hurricane Helene, collectively requesting more than $42.4 million in assistance.
The Asheville Recovers Together Small Business Grants Program will provide grants ranging from $5,000 to $75,000 to help small businesses recover from the storm. The application period closed Tuesday, July 14.
