(FOX40.COM) — A jury has convicted a Stockton man on 11 charges related to raping two young girls, the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday. He name faces a possible life sentence without the possibility of parole.
33-year-old Antonio Abarca, of Stockton, was found guilty of felony sexual assault which includes special enhancements for causing great bodily injury and for committing crimes against multiple victims, the attorney’s office said.
In 2012, Abarca impregnated his 12-year-old cousin and the girl delivered the baby at age 13, which the jury found constituted great bodily injury. Years later, the girl’s sister reported she had also been molested by Abarca, and the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office soon launched an investigation upon learning of the allegations, the attorney’s office said…
