MADISON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — The Madison County Sheriff’s Office said two people were arrested following a months-long investigation into products being sold at local vape shops.
Sheriff Buddy Harwood says his office received numerous complaints from parents and community members about products sold at the stores that he says are “attractive and accessible” to young people.
“We’ve been getting a number of calls from concerned citizens, parents from Madison County about the vape shops that’s went up in the county and some of those products that’s been sold at some of those shops,” Harwood said.
Investigation began in February
