Perry Woman Accused Of Killing Her Newborn Infant In Court Today
(Perry, IA) — The Perry woman accused of killing her newborn will be in court today. Police responded to a Perry child care center on September 15 to reports of 20-year-old Stephanie Ubaldo bleeding. Investigators say they found her deceased infant in a trash can at the day care an hour after Ubaldo was taken to the hospital for treatment. Ubaldo was arrested two days later and is charged with first-degree murder. She is being held at the Dallas County Jail without bond, and has a preliminary hearing today at 11 a.m.
