A Hartford woman is facing a felony drug charge following an incident the morning of September 17th.
According to a Warren County criminal complaint, 40-year-old Jacqueline Renie Ashley was arrested September 17th on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, third or subsequent offense, a Class D felony.
The complaint says a Carlisle police officer went to Ashley’s residence on South Vine Street around 8:22 a.m. to pick her up on forgery warrants from the department. According to the complaint, when Ashley came to the door, the officer immediately detected the odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the home. The complaint says Ashley admitted there was approximately one gram of marijuana in the bedroom. She reportedly agreed to retrieve it and provided the officer with the marijuana along with a used marijuana pipe.
