Carroll finished second on Saturday at Des Moines Lincoln High School in the “Pink in the Pool” meet. Greene County eighth grader Mya Weber swam in four events at that meet for Carroll through an athletic sharing agreement. Boone won the team title with 543 points, followed by Carroll at 438. Cedar Rapids Washington had 329 with Des Moines Lincoln fourth with 310, followed by Indianola at 288, and 175 points from Des Moines East.
Weber was on the second place 200 yard freestyle relay, the second place 400 yard freestyle relay, was fifth in the 50 yard freestyle, and eighth in the 100 backstroke. She’s the daughter of Scott and Dani Weber of Jefferson and is the lone Greene County student participating in a high school sport this Fall…
