STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A Staten Island man alleged by law enforcement sources to be a member of the Gambino crime family has been indicted in Supreme Court of the State of New York in connection with a sophisticated burglary that yielded nearly $1.8 million worth of merchandise from a Chanel boutique in Manhattan.
Thomas Dono, 52, of Graniteville, was charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and burglary for his alleged role in the July 2024 burglary of Chanel’s flagship store on East 57th Street, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced.
Court records show Dono has prior federal convictions that include racketeering, homicide and bank larceny, as well as burglary convictions in New York and New Jersey…
