KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Veterans Community Project cut the ribbon Wednesday on a new Welcome Center, the anchor of what leaders call a first-of-its-kind campus for veteran services in south Kansas City.
The goal is to put every resource a struggling veteran might need under one roof.
“This is meant to be a low-barrier front door for veterans that need help. So often, places like the VA, it’s not as easy to just walk in and raise your hand and say, hey, I need some assistance,” said Bryan Meyer, CEO and co-founder of Veterans Community Project.
