LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Two of Lincoln’s newest high schools are continuing to grow. Standing Bear and Lincoln Northwest are now serving about 1,100 students each, just a few years after opening.
Plans for the two schools trace back to 2018, when Lincoln Public Schools was in a stretch of fast enrollment growth, at times adding more than a thousand students districtwide in a single year.
