JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The City of Jackson announced a contractor began removing the existing Coleman Avenue Bridge.
Officials said crews have begun driving piles in the vicinity, and there could be significant noise.
MDOT plans expansion for I-55, Lakeland Drive
According to the city, electric power may be interrupted for short periods of time during certain stages on the construction.
Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling near the work zone. They should expect periodic traffic delays and increased activity in the area.
