JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A once-vacant lot is now a source of education and inspiration for students at Blackburn Middle School.
Students spent months planting and tending to vegetables, herbs and fruits. On Wednesday, they got the chance to transform the Jackson State University and Blackburn Learning Garden from garden to marketplace.
