Suspect wanted in string of ARF burglaries in Jackson

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are searching for a suspect who burglarized the Animal Rescue Fund of MS (ARF) multiple times.

The incident occurred at the ARF location on West Mayes Street on May 13, May 19 and May 20, 2026. According to police, the burglaries occurred after 11:00 p.m.

Two arrested for shooting into occupied Byram home

Investigators said the suspect is a Black male, slender build, and medium complexion with unknown hair. They believe the suspect lives in the area where the burglaries occurred.
