KNOXVILLE — tnAchieves students have now completed more than 6.6 million hours of community service, a milestone that reflects both the scale of their impact and the role service plays in helping students connect to their communities, careers and Tennessee’s future.
Since tnAchieves launched in 2008, community service has been a core part of the student experience. While students complete service hours to remain eligible for Tennessee Promise, tnAchieves has worked to make those hours more meaningful by connecting students to career exploration, professional skills and their local communities.
