Man convicted in fatal shooting at St. Louis high school homecoming party

ST. LOUIS – A man was convicted of several felony charges Thursday in connection with a fatal shooting at a St. Louis high school homecoming party in 2023.

Jurors found Azavian Royal, 21, guilty of second-degree murder, first-degree robbery, two counts of second-degree assault and four counts of armed criminal action in the shooting.
