SCOTTSVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – VFW Post 8169 celebrated its 80th anniversary Saturday afternoon with a barbecue fundraiser.
The post started in August of 1926 and has been a place for many veterans in the area.
Fundraisers and donations help the post support other veterans in the community, even if they are not members. They offer support through school scholarships, counseling for veterans, home repairs, and more…
