INDIANOLA, Iowa — Authorities say a juvenile pedestrian was killed Sunday after being struck by a vehicle in Indianola.
The Indianola Police Department says officers and emergency personnel were called to the 400 block of W. 18th Place around 5:50 p.m. Sunday on reports of a vehicle striking a pedestrian.

Upon arrival, authorities say they found bystanders performing CPR on the pedestrian. The officers took over life-saving care efforts while a Life Flight was requested. Despite efforts, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
